My name is David Kicklighter, and I’ve spent more than thirty years working with wood—transforming raw materials into pieces defined by intention, character, and craftsmanship. I specialize in custom carpentry, with a strong commitment to detail and a passion for creating work that is both functional and meaningful.

I’m especially drawn to live-edge designs and the rich history found in reclaimed barn wood. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of materials—including walnut, cedar, oak, cumaru, and teak—each bringing its own unique qualities and challenges. I enjoy letting the natural beauty of the wood guide the design while still honoring each client’s vision.

Whether starting from a rough concept or a detailed plan, I take pride in listening carefully, refining every element, and delivering results that exceed expectations.
